San Francisco Bay Area | The Peninsula

This is the area south of San Francisco which joins SF and the South Bay (aka Silicon Valley). It’s bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the east by the San Francisco Bay. As you drive south out of San Francisco, there are two main freeways, 280 and 101, both of which will take you down the length of the peninsula. Due to high traffic, I highly suggest using the Waze App to navigate — traffic patterns can change in a heartbeat. I have highlighted boutiques as you journey south in the towns of Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and Los Altos.
