Shopping Day on Walton Street in Chelsea, London

If you’re craving a respite from the madness that is Harrod’s, it’s a mere 10-minute walk to a very charming shopping area on Walton Street in Chelsea. (It’s right on the boarder of South Kensington.)

This block is home to some lovely shops for a variety of styles.  My first stop was Mira Mikati, which is THE perfect place for the those who love rainbows and kitschy items.  From the clothing in rainbow colors to the knit-bombed skateboards, you really can’t help but smile in this shop.  Kudos to them for opening at the beginning of the pandemic and surviving!!

If you’re craving a respite from the madness that is Harrod’s, it’s a mere 10-minute walk to a very charming shopping area on Walton Street in Chelsea.

Robert Clergerie has been a well-loved shoe brand for ages, and I was pleased to discover their spacious boutique here on Walton Street.  I love when I can see the whole range of a brand, versus a few styles in a department store.  I can personally attest to how comfortable their shoes are!

Looking for a chic swimsuit for you and perhaps your little one?  Melissa Odabash is there for all your resort needs!  I really loved the variety of swim coverups they have, as well as fashion jewelry to complement your seaside style. I may have spent a bit too much time oohing and aahing over the darling baby bikinis. Too cute!!!

The windows of Laurence Coste drew me in, with all their bling and bold jewelry.  It’s true…you mainly know me as a fine jewelry gal. But trust me, I’m a BIG fan of quality fashion jewelry as well.  It’s just got to be fab fashion jewelry! All the jewelry is made by Laurence herself, and it’s showcased in their two stores in London. I fell in love with their hand-crafted African bead necklaces. What could be better with a white blouse and faded jeans?  And take a look at these statement necklaces and rings. Ooh la la!

I couldn’t resist entering Luxury Family Affair when I saw their cheeky totes in the window. Each and every item is custom made in house, and it’s virtually impossible to buy their products online as they sell out so quickly.  If you’re looking for a gift for someone who truly has everything, this is it!  I found their prices incredibly reasonable, especially considering many of their products take three days to make. I still can’t decide which saying was my favorite.

Before heading to one of my featured London stores at the end of the road (click here to become a member), I had to check out the latest and greatest from Alice Temperley.  As a magpie, I’m drawn to all things shiny and sparkly.  Their latest line is rife with sequins, so I couldn’t resist browsing their lovely offerings.

This little enclave is the ideal place to spend a couple hours away from the typical London hustle and bustle. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
