San Francisco Bay Area | Fillmore

When I lived in San Francisco back in the 1990s, this was the area where I lived. It’s a vibrant neighborhood and the shopping continues to evolve and improve each year. The main shopping runs on Fillmore Street, approximately between Pine Street and up the hill to Clay Street.  Street parking can be a challenge in this area, and street spots are only good for two hours. I usually luck out and find a spot in the little parking lot on California, between Fillmore and Pierce St (right across the street from Mollie Stone’s Market). Not only does it avoid parallel parking, but you can park here all day and pay by credit card! If you’re looking for a meal while shopping, I highly recommend la Mediterranée – super yummy!
