San Francisco Bay Area | Marin

If you head north of San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge and through the rainbow tunnel, you’ll find yourself in Marin County. Among the 36 cities in this county, you may be familiar with towns such as San Rafael, Sausalito, and Tiburon. There are also famous nature locales including Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, and Mt. Tamalpais. I recommend having a car to explore this area, for both convenience and the ability to stop and enjoy different areas. Though there is a major shopping mall in Corte Madera, you know I’m always on the hunt for more unique boutiques. Many of those are found in the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, and some in nearby Mill Valley.
