Hero ShopFormer Vogue editor, Emily Holt, founded this store in 2016.  Originally located in the Tenderloin in San Francisco, the flagship relocated to Marin in 2019. Personally, I feel this is an ideal location for a store that really aims to dress people how we attire ourselves in the Bay Area – a mix of casual and dressy, but never “stuffy.” Many of the brands she carries are more difficult to find in the Bay Area, such as The Elder Stateman, Bode, and Gabriela Hearst.  On my recent visit I was very taken with the knit pieces from Calle del Mar. I loved their slinky, sophisticated feel. Their shoe selection is always on point – timeless designers such as Khaite and The Row. They have two lovely cases of fine jewelry to complete any look.
