Wilkes BashfordThe Palo Alto outpost of this iconic San Francisco store opened a brand, new free-standing store in November of 2024. The new store is located on the El Camino side of Stanford Shopping Mall, and it is a whopping 25,000 square feet — almost three times the size of their previous location! It’s airy, modern, and completely chic. It is a multi brand luxury store that really feels like a boutique department store. As you enter, you’re greeted with jewels glittering from their 21 jewelry cases. Of course, I gravitated straight to their estate jewelry display. A woman can find everything from casual (denim, R13, etc.) to ball gowns and everything in between. Lines from Toteme, Johanna Ortiz, and Aquazzura, to name a a few, have been added to staples including Akris and The Row. The SF Peninsula is so lucky to have this new store!
